Marci Renaud, RMT, is committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and security of your personal information and personal health information. As a Registered Massage Therapist regulated by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), Marci Renaud complies with the Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 (PHIPA), applicable privacy legislation, and CMTO Standards of Practice.

This Privacy Policy explains how personal information and personal health information are collected, used, disclosed, stored, and protected in the provision of Massage Therapy services at Dougall Chiropractic in Windsor, Ontario.

To provide safe and effective Massage Therapy care, the following information may be collected:

  • Health history and medical information relevant to treatment

Clients may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal and professional obligations. Withdrawal of consent may limit the ability to provide certain services.

  • To insurance providers for benefits claims, with authorization

Personal information is never sold to third parties.

Safeguarding Information

Website and Online Services

This website may automatically collect limited technical information such as IP addresses, browser types, and website usage data to improve website performance and user experience.

If online booking services are used, information may be collected and stored by third-party service providers that are required to maintain appropriate privacy and security safeguards.

Retention of Records

Client records are retained in accordance with applicable laws, PHIPA requirements, and CMTO record-keeping standards. Records are securely destroyed when retention requirements have been satisfied.

Access and Correction Rights

Clients have the right to:

  • Request access to their personal health information
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Inquire about the collection, use, and disclosure of their information as permitted by law
